Thank you for this video. Not everyone wants to tuck a band under a wig (seems bulky) nor is it easy to find QUALITY human hair half wigs! Loved this & it looks so natural. Just ordered mine and can’t wait to try this method!

so i had to come back to this post after i tried it. OMMMG this is a HACK. my headband wig is so much more comfortable bc i was folding the headband under every time anyway. it sits more flush with my scalp. the combs go in easier and grip, and i can do more versatile styles without a hump forming where i folded the band under. im doing this to all my headband wigs now-- if you a headband wig girl who don't really be wearing them with them goofy headbands and actually want to blend your leaveout? this for you

I think the best part is, is that you can still wear a headband with it and still technically have your headband wig without it being attached.

I love the concept of half wigs bc I love the flip I’ve look. I’ve always been too lazy to make my own real one since I’ve never been able to find one to purchase. When they came out with headband wigs I was like wait a min why aren’t we just calling what it is lol I’m so glad you did this I was so confused why no one was

I just took a headband off a headband wig. It was a thick black headband.I removed it and it looks great .I can wear it with or without a headband. Genius. Than I saw this 😊😊😊

It is a great look and you are still using the velcro. GREAT HACK! It looks like your Natural hair 😍.

I remove the headband altogether and attach an elastic band like you do on a full wig. It lays flat and is amazing. Half wigs are usually of such poor quality so this is what works for me.

This is what's needed. When you have a pretty good hairline, who wants to cover it up, apply glue to secure a wig frontal? I can afford to put my hairline under that kind of stress especially when black folks hair is fragile. Front lace wigs are beautiful, but I'm not secure when it comes to my front hairline being glued down & a rubber/nylon cap. I wanted to do this with the lace-frontal but the lace was too hard that it would break of my hairline. And, you know every strand of hair counts. Thank you very much for sharing your beauty secret & giving us Gals another option to be flawlessly-beautiful!

Sometimes you can just fold back the headband if you want to switch it back and forth

If you use a seam ripper the band will come off the front completely

Cute. I've been cutting off the headband for years. So much easier for styling. I now sew them in for styles I want to wear a week or two. I cut out the combs too.

I might try this but cut the headband off fully. I currently use headband wigs but the headband itself is always to big and stretches out more over further use so doesn't stay snug however i like the actual hair it comes with

The front of my hair is pretty short but I noticed as I wear this wig if I print out just a small portion of my hair it blends better when I wet it all and put eco gel

Hi. The elastic on my headband wig is too tight. I watched this video and cut off handband. I like it much better but the elastic is a tad tight. Is there a way to loise it ? Thank you 😊😊

dye can fix it easily ! no bleach needed. Nothing wrong with your grey hairs though, i've always liked how grey hair looked on people
