Damn dude, really glad I came across this channel. Straight to the point and very insightful.Not dropping any names, but there are other channels that make a video like this 3 times as long and not even half as informative 😂. Great stuff!

This is probably the best upgrade video I have seen to this deck without feeling unnecessarily pricy or like a completely different deck

Nice list...some many vampires to choose from. I'd try to include Grave Pact (with all the sacrificing we are doing), Bloodletter of Aclazotz, (double damage on our turn), and maybe get rid of Generous Gift and replace with Stroke of Midnight (opponent getting a 1/1 human is better than a 3/3 elephant). Can't target lands, but I like the tradeoff.

I'm very new to Magic and bought this deck because.... vampires. Being new did not help me at all and even some upgrades and replacing didn't go as well for me. This video helped me see the different paths I can take and how to go about and do them. Super informative and juicy content. A+ and thank you so much!

I really appreciate how you try and keep these tribal precons tribal. So many upgrade videos focus on swapping in high powered expensive cards, but if I'm getting a Vampire precon, it's cause I want to play vampires! Love your work!

Another side grade is Grave Pact - it has strong synergy with the sacrifice theme and a reasonable price with the recent reprinting. Awesome vids Graz - head and shoulders above the other Blood Rites upgrades vids.

Fantastic tech upgrades and explanations, was watching command zone's upgrade and yours to find a nice balance that ill enjoy. And your side grades section cemented the deck upgrades for me, might run both alternate win cons and see how it goes.

Hello! I made my upgrades prior to seeing these videos but i more or less fell in line. I actually removed exquisite blood and bloodghast for my braids, arisen nightmare deck. So i didnt go down the infinite drain route. I tried to keep it fairly lowish in power because my pod has a mix and i already have a couple of 9s. I added: Teysa karlov Drivnod Ashnods altar Smothering tithe Exsanguinate Cavern of souls (pulled in pre lol) Murkwood bats Skullclamp Some removal The new vamp aguirre Bloodletter of aclazotz Roaming throne (best card as it doubles clavileño triggers) And like 2 x 2 mana rocks Great deck. Good video!

I'd play this deck

Certainly one of the best upgrades I have seen. Might not agree with every pick but that is more likely a matter of style. However, I think both Ashnold's Altar and Phyrexian Altar a pretty glaring omissions. Certainly the former which is relatively inexpensive.

I loved this upgrade. I got it too and I think the deck is fun but it's not so special like I thought - especially compared to Dino and Merfolk it pales in comparison. I think you did a nice job her!

You can further down the lifegain/counter matters aspect of the deck. Using both as value. With a "sideboard" you are able to play the same commander differently.

Add ojer taq Deepest Foundation and roaming throne like I did to my clavileño and you will find the ability absolutely busted

Another good sidegrade is minas morgul, dark fortress instead of rogues passage, it does come in tapped, but its ability creates a counter, instead of having to repay for it each turn. Unless the opponent has shadow lol

Yep, this one is certainly fun to play and a refreshing "twist" on the traditional vampire tribal build.

Youbcould add quietus spike to force disadvantageous blocks from our opponents

Is Timothar, Baron of Bats a good keep? If not, what should I swap it out with?

19:19 Question: I did not quite get how you can win with Liliana's Contract... Your demon tokens will all have the same name, right?

Correct but here's the thing - our commander turns our vampires into demons even before the die. This allows us to sneakily build up our count of demons with different names (since each non-token vampire demon will get to keep their name when they become demons) and, when Liliana's Contract comes down, forces our opponents to immediately get rid of them or lose on the following turn.

I think Clavileño is better than most people think precisely because his ability isn't all that impressive on paper. He can generate value over time when if he did it in larger bursts he would draw a lot of hate and so we gain survivability by appearing unthreatening.

Appreciate your perspective on win-more or otherwise unnecessary elements of the precon. I'm curious, what do you think of the new Vito, Fanatic of Aclazotz in this deck?

Sadly no - she's a superb reprint and a fun build around but between the other 2 precons and my backlist of poll winners, my hands are full for the time being regarding new builds.

Fair enough. Personally I would only run Kindred Boon in the event we have a lot a key creatures in a tribal build that we absolutely need to keep alive - which is why I recommended cutting it here since the overwelming majority of our creatures are expendable and we have ways to reanimate them from the bin - but honestly, sometimes getting multiple indestructible creatures onboard is enough to win games.

Ojer taq deepest foundation and Roaming throne break this deck. Doubke and triple all token generation triggers, which my deck is full of especially with bloodline keeper, and double triggered abilities. You will be making more vamp tokens than vamp/demon tokens but when its that many who cares. They are all flying as well so once you get 40 of, which with tutors will set your board for you quickly, then they dint stand a chance without a board wipe whcih will give you vamp/demons. Broken
