I use to demo the Cricut and they never did show or tell us how to cut fabric. They did let us know that you could do it. I would have lots of guest come to my demo and tell me that they tried and it did not work. I was so glad to see how you did it and now I can share that with others. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

Oh goodness can't believe we found a tutorial for this. I make appliqued onesies myself and sew them, I found it a pain to have to go online find a pattern size it print it pin and cut. I told my mom that it would be easier to use her circuit, we tried and the fabric shredded to pieces. So glad I found this, now it will only take a matter of minutes to get this done. Thank u so so mich

I recommend using a "pressing sheet" whenever using fusible web, between your iron & fabric as well as between your ironing board cover & the fusible. This will save you ever having to clean either of them. Joann's sells the June Tailor one pretty cheaply. It's large enough to fold over & under your cutout. You may also benefit using a BRAYER, to really roll over the fabric to stick it down well, before cutting. Best wishes, Thanks for the video.

Was excited about cutting fabric because I do a lot of embroidery digitizing for applique & cutting the fabric pieces to make them fit is tedious. Made 3 cuts with best luck on the first. It went downhill. I cut the letter N from one of my computer fonts using the SCAL software. I think success depends on the complexity of the design and pure luck in getting your piece of fabric to stay stuck to the mat. Make sure when you cut a letter to flip it in your SCAL software. More later!

If you want to do letters just put the wonder under on the back side like normal and cut it with the paper side down. Your letters will be ready to go. the fabric stays on the mat better paper side down anyway.

It workes! I am so happy. My first attempts to cut fabric with the Cricut was a disaster. I used microsuede and Heat N'Bond. You can buy Heat N'Bond by the yard for next to nothing. It's usually with the pellon. The backing kept tearing, so I peeled it off before I cut and that fixed everything. The painters tape really helped. I did speed: high, pressure: max and the blade turned to 6. Thanks Emilie!!
