It is actually pretty easy as long as you take the time, make sure to find a good tutorial too but there isn't much to mess up.

i tried it recently. it's indeed pretty easy. you just gotta make sure to remember or log how to reassemble the controller back and also make extra sure you don't stripe the screws.

For those of you that are looking for the heart button there actual “fabric stickers” they weren’t meant for the switch or the pro controllers but for fabric things

I appreciate the amount of dedication you put into your set ups and the look of your gear. Really inspiring. Please keep up the great work!

The heart stickers feel like they will come off within 2 month of intense button smash. Not recommended unless for display or really passive gameplay only. Or if you can keep replacing them each time.

I attempted my first re shell and it worked! Thank you for the video guides! For the most part i changed all except the ZR and ZL button cuz i didnt know how to take it off 😢

Does the button feel different after you changed it? I'm considering to change the faceplate and buttons but worried that the button press will feel different afterwards.

I love what you did with your procon but I just hate that ExtremeRate doesn't include a replacement shell for the middle so now you're stuck with the black middle top.

How do you find the shells have held up overtime? I just got white but I’ve been seeing reviews about how they get stained and paint rubs off over time.

I’m looking into white too and that’s the exact reason: with white, if they get marked you can use cleaning wipes on them and won’t have to worry about any colour transfer. So weirdly, white is probably the best choice.

I just did it I now have a light grey pro controller with a white depad white joysticks and a red accent of Mario jumping with a Mario cart thing in the background and I’m obsessed Sorry if this didn’t make any sense

She doesn’t have everything in the desc so I suggest Ali express it’s really cheap but takes a lil while to get there!I wanted my switch like hers so I went there and got cool stuff things u can look up kawaii switch accessories Nintendo switch button case kawaii (I’m a small KZread if u wanna sub you don’t have to tho)

I think they are Ifixit and if not Ifixit is a quality brand that has specific kits just for switch repairs or changes.

Pretty sure it’s the same as the original. The pink one is probably just plastic but with a matte finish. Still cute though.

It's pretty much just recolored, mine feels just as quality as the original Pro controller shell.
