Give credit where it's due...I will admit Ray is tech savvy, he's got a keen sixth sense and a 3rd eye when it comes to mechanical and automotive diagnostics, he's honest and owns it when he slips up. But.... when it's comes to carpentry, I'd sooner trust Ray Charles to install my OH door LOL Sorry Ray, couldn't contain myself....that was too easy, just teasin :)

My former Transit 150 van suffered from recurring check engine lights evert few hundred miles. I'd get a small leak code in the evap system. Not having the tools that Ray has, I disconnected the purge solenoid, attached a line to it and blew through the line. I could move air through it when it was closed. I fired the parts cannon and got a new one, I could not move air through it when it was closed. It cured the problem for about $30, no more check engine light for the time I owned it.

Oh it’s broken in already. Not by being driven hard by the nurse though. Amazon O2 sensor and in for check engine light with no other info point, the filthy engine bay, ripped and dirty seats among other things point to how it’s maintained. For only 51k miles it’s not wearing well at all. The rotted door panel and what are the dash carpet and filthy steering wheel cover hiding? Poor GT and that fake hood scoop.🤦‍♂️

I’d take one half the age with twice the miles before I’d buy that one. The lack of mileage is exactly why it frequents the shop. It isn’t driven enough to let all the systems heat and lube properly. Florida humidity causes moisture. The moisture in the evap system is probably what killed this valve. Going for a road trip every once in a while would probably prevent most of this car’s problems. Let it burn off the moisture and get everything hot and well lubed. My guess is that this nurse lives close to their job and probably does 10 miles or less per day. That’s awful for longevity. Especially if they live in Tampa. It’s probably 5 miles each way of traffic jams.

When the battery terminals start to corrode like that it is an indication that someone has either impacted the terminal screws on way too hard or hammered the terminals on or mutilated them in some other way Those actions can break the seal between the terminal and the battery case and allow the acid to slowly leak out and corrode the terminal

If this was my shop, the first thing that would have been done is reverse the door of death so the hinges are on the other side of the opening. Then the door could be almost flat against the wall when open, and not hanging across another doorway.

I had an earlier year of the same car. Pretty easy car to work on. Sold it after a year. Little did I know these 4.6 motors have a couple of hidden grenades that can go, so I am glad I got rid of it.

I could not find the comments section on the recent video that you did with excavation personal property. So i am commeting here. I enjoyed the video very much. I am interested in the fencing and you're plans with it. Keep us updated. ***Side note.***. Your English is like mine sometimes. It is not " more better" its much better. That is the proper way to talk. Thanks for your videos.
