Retired now and out of the game but still try and help out friends and family and came across your channel as a friend has a difficult to diagnose issue with the can bus coms error, U codes on a ford Bmax. Loss of pas, no rev counter working etc and crank sensor fault code which has bee changed three times by two different garages. I haven't really got the skill set or background in modern vehicle deep diagnostics so I doubt I can help but will run my own scan. I honestly wish you were close by Im pretty sure you would pick up there issues quickly. Brilliant chanell and so refreshing to see how methodical and thorough you are, far too many garages look at the fault codes, guess and take a punt costing the customer ridiculous sums and getting nowhere.

The part at the end with the mg and brake pedal position switch code…… does the pedal need pressed to start?. Reason I ask is my dad’s berlingo semi auto would have a gearbox fault during the summer then vanish in cold weather. Turned out the switch was sticking slightly in hot weather and because the box uses the sensor as part of the system it was throwing the code thinking the brake pedal and accelerator were being pressed together. So I’d say if the switch on the mg is stuck then could cause a no start
