Yes! It made this process really easy compared to doing it on the f150, where we had to run wire and slice into the wire harness under the passenger rear door floor cover. Lights still work great to this day. We highly reccomend.

Great job y’all did the same thing on my F 250 lariat maybe a bit of a pro tip as I installed the lights about every 6 “ I put a dab of gorilla super glue

I have installed thousands of electrical components on boats the die electrical is a under used . And soldering is a dieing art . But very interesting video I’ll be cking more out . Good job.

It's not to bad! They should have made a plug but hey, nothing we can't handle. We have a video on this light install on a f150 that didn't have the plug as well for a reference.:)

Hell yea, I prob should have ran my strip around the end like y’all, instead of drilling that little hole and running the wires threw that. If it fails I’ll do it this way. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Yeah, looks great this way! Was more of a pain on the f150

I just installed this same setup thanks to this video! I just used those solder connectors instead of standard solder. Worked great. The lights work just like y’all said and they look fantastic!! Quick question: how has the tape on the lights held up? Is it still holding?

I cant find the plug (2022 f250 gasser) i looked for 20 minutes.Great video though.

Great video! I have one question, why didn't you just run the light strips from back to front, and cut off the excess, or did you not want to break the factory sealed end?

We try to keep a factory sealed end. The the plug we plugged it in to was a little more toward the rear so that was just the route we choose. Either or would work, it's your prefernce really :)

Up over top of the brake cable on the driver's side would have been a better choice. Zip tied to the other wire bundle would keep it up and out of way avoiding any chance of getting snagged.

Do you know if both driver and passenger puddle lights are supposed to stay on for a few seconds after locking the truck? I noticed they both come on when unlocking my truck but then only driver stays on for a few seconds after locking. Can't find a answer anywhere any information would be appreciated ty

Yes they will stay on for a sec before turning off. They kind of fade out.

Did you ever do the video for the bed lights?

We did do the video but the files on the sd card some how got corrupted and was unusable so we were unable to post it. Sorry.

What's the name of the port/plug that was used to set up the lights? I'm trying to locate it on a 2010 f150.

It was not a port or plug really, we tapped into the wiring harness that runs under the door sill.

How do you think this would work with running boards?

It could work but the board would block a large portion of the light so it won't be as great.

I don’t see a plug on my 17’ superduty power stroke 😕

Hmm, if you're not seeing a plug and you can confirm it's not there, it may be set up where you'll have to tap into the wires like a 2017 f150. But it is strange the plugs aren't there.

What year is your truck? I have a 2017 and this would be perfect!

You can buy some pretty cheap ones that has issues but you got to look for better quality ones.
