Custom Switchback Clear Side Marker For Honda Odyssey

In this video I will show you a custom set of clear side marker with switchback LED. I integrated the LED light module from a Honda Civic clear side marker into the Honda Odyssey side marker. I then fabricated a clear lens to go on top to give it a crystal clear look. The final result is a very unique look. Watch the entire video for full detail on how I made it.

Turned out pretty good for DIY. I have an Astro with side reflectors that I replaced with clear ones and I just installed an amber LED strip so it illuminates orange at night but this is another level.
Fantastic job.. I need to do the same for my car. Their was a company making clear sides years ago and of course they don't make em anymore. Always wanted to make my own and thank to you and your video I can make that happen. KUDOS.

You have great talent. The lights came out great and match the drl very well. Because of you 2018 odyssey ex has every light changed to led. I also in the front blinkers used a dual filament bulb and wired the low beam to the parking lights. I like the look. Thanks again for the knowledge

Great vid! Also saw your rear bumper reflector vid and trying to do something with my Honda Ridgeline reflectors, but more so like this one. Not sure if there is an led strip for red and amber for a brake, emergency flash (red) and switch to amber for turn signals. Or best idea is if it’s possible to get a white, red, and amber led strip to also get the reverse white light function in as well
You AMAZE ME I wish I could have you install a forward facing camera on my Lincoln MKZ the Mustang of my year had the option of a ground effects camera so you wouldn't hit anything as the front stock bumper was so low. I know my infotainment center has the port for a second camera I'm just not that savvy to install it myself

I only have 25k on the van. So no tranny flush right now, but I will probably make a video when it comes time.

@@vinnypatel3985 The Honda maintenance minder does not indicate at what mileage to do the service, but the recommended interval is between 30,000 to 50,000 miles. If you tow with your Odyssey, then you should do it at 30k, otherwise you can do the service at around 45k-50k. If you have the 9 spd transmission, you might want to do it sooner like around 35k-40k.

You can tap the wire however you like. Solder or crimp.

Man that’s a LOT of work. Good stuff. Although I don’t think mine would fit if I made it. It would probably have condensation and water leak. I hope they make these for sale I can just switch out the lights.
White marker lights are illegal. They are supposed to be amber color only in the front, red in the rear and have a safety reflector. Dont put this on your vehicle unless you want to fail state inspection.
