I made a great patch last night to sew on my husband's sweatshirt. He had a hole in the pocket on the outside that needed patched and the one I embroidered worked great! Thanks for the easy instructions. Happy New Year!

Likewise, thanks for the overview. After using Melco & Wilcom software over the past 20 years I now ONLY use Embrilliance, especially since it is so Macintosh centric. I am always about to buy a used Merrow machine, but this feature is the boss. Madeira Badgemaster film makes this SO EASY and fun, patches for all occasions!

Hello, and thank you for another wondeful video. Could you have sent the completed patch design fcm file back to the scan and cut, and allowed the scan and cut to cut the patch creating a closed loop communication which would remove the need for scissors? The scan and cut should be able to do pre/post cutting. I have asked this question of 4 popular youtube content creators for all things sewing and embroidery, and I just cannot get anyone to answer my question. No one has ever done it on youtube, but logically it should be able to be done. I would like someone, anyone to do it. Thanks a miilion. You are so easy to watch and learn from

@Linneydenise It is not a simple answer unfortunately. You can use the finished shape to create a cut file but you would have to be incredibly careful that the blade does not go anywhere near the stitching, if cutting around an embroidered badge. If you have stitched onto washaway, it is a simple task of using a wet cotton bud to disolve the stabiliser from around the patch so this may be easier. Sometimes what we think is time saving may not be the best way of completing the task.

@@EchidnaClub Thank you. I will try it and see if it is possible. I have the stellaire embroidery machine only. I just received a code from Brother to connect my scan and cut to the my stellaire so that files can be sent pre/post for completed applique/patch to/from the scan and cut. I lost the code that came inside the box. Brother does not tell you how important that code is if you have the SDX 325/330 and does not even tell their customers about the closed loop communication that can be created between scan n cut to stellaire back to scan and cut. It was mindblowing that I discovered it on my own. Brother definitely need to do a better job. But I do understand that somewhere in the process, the stitch line will need to be adjusted to ensure it is not cut or a "union" will have to be created around the satin stitching in embrillance, to move the post-cut away from the stitch line, in the scan and cut. I want to make these very cute useful toiletry fabric bags, probably about 25-50 per day by myself. I didnt want to start selling these toiletry bags and product unless I found away to stream line the process and remove the scissors for a more professional finished look and to save time. I think it may work. I just need to play around with it so that I can finally put out my products. Been trying to figure this out for over 6 months. Creating a union around the satin stitch may just do it. Thank you so much. I will spend next 48 hours working on it until find a solution. I have Embrillance Stitch Artist 3

VERY GOOD DEMONSTRATION 👍. I noticed during the embroidery (39:14) fill stitch tension is off. The bottom thread is showing on top. Or, could the bottom bobbin showing on top coming from Embrilliance software out putting bad image?

@LouRao Thank you for your comment. It is just the angle of the camera giving the view that the bobbin thread is pulling up.
