A little heavy handed on the silver dry brushing but otherwise, very nice job if it really is your first time. It certainly looks better than my first attempt.

Nice job, do you not have to prime or sand the figure for touchup jobs like this? Or does this only apply for full body jobs?

Aquí yo con una tentación de pintar todas mis figuras de Hasbro, pero como tú dices si no salen bien las daña uno. Mejor es educarse uno y comprar otra segundo figura por si acaso. 😆👊🏻

Does your figure become "sticky" to handle? I tried to touch up some parts on one of my figures and even after a while the parts were still sticky...:(

Yes, I didn’t cover this in my video but you will probably need to add a sealer after the paint.

Como hiciste el color piel ?

I was just about to sell or cannibalize that figure for my mezco cable. I wanted that teddy bear on my mezco, but now I'm not sure. Awesome video

What do I need to do, If I want to make custom figures on marvel legends? Do I need a technique before and after painting tips? Cuz I just have tried to paint on figure with model color paints and after drying the paint comes easily off. Did I did maybe something wrong? Or the paints are not good enough for plastic? I want to know! Maybe you can help my out.

Hi Real, I don’t consider myself an expert on this subject but did you add a prime before painting. That might be helpful. Also, after your done painting make sure to apply a paint sealer. Aleene's Spray Finish Acrylic Sealer . Hope this helps! 😀👊🏻

Most model paints are enamel. Don't use those on action figures, enamel doesn't bond or dry well on soft plastic. Use *acrylic* paint, and buy name brand like Testors, Tamiya, etc... Also, *wash your figure thoroughly in warm/hot water and dish soap. This removes oils that are left on the figure from the factory molding process. If you don't clean them first, you will have problems. Primer may help, but isn't always necessary if washed properly first, and good paint is used. 👍

Before Marvel Legends are put into their packaging, they are sprayed with an agent designed to protect against mold and prevent them from sticking to their trays. This agent also can prevent new paint from sticking. To counter this, take an old toothbrush, soap and hot water, then scrub every single inch of the figure down. Rinse it off thoroughly with cold water once you're done. Be sure you allow it to fully dry before you apply any paint, sometimes water likes to hide in the joints.

Hi Sem, I don’t consider myself an expert on the subject but I preferred not to use oil paints because they usually take a bit longer to dry. On this video I used two different wash colors to create some depth and age the figure.

The other two paints are thin water-based paints used to create shading and definition to make the miniature stand out.

@@ethompson9107 Here's when I used them but you can use them however you want. Hope this helps. At 1:59 premium Metallic Paint. At 3:59 I started using the Citadel Shade Nuln Oil. At 4:53 I started using the Citadel Shade Reikland Fleshshade
