    Did you use use the hull bottom running surface to match your bracket angles ? Will it be more of a hull extension which extends the boats effective length vs adding setback? Looking to make this but didn’t wNt to glass it to hull

    Hello. This is bolted to the back 50mm above the keel height with a slight taper angle on the bottom surfance as well.

    In every corner or “90 degree” like what you see on the inside braces, do you fill those corners with a small radius of epoxy filler or do you just shove the fiberglass in there?

    Curves give more strength than right angles. And i would personally never use epoxy especially when building something out of polyester as it will not chemically bond.

    @@sovereign_skipper ​ Ah I see. Also how thick is the part the motor is attached to? I see it’s three layers but doesn’t look like 3 layers of 18 mm

    Hey! We bolt it onto the back of the boat with 12 stainless steel bolts and backing pads. 🙂

    4 layers inside and out of 900g combination matt with polyester resin

    Around 45KG or 100Lbs for our smaller one and this was was heaviest we did as it was the prototype couldn't tell u exactly but closer to 100kg depending which measurement you use

    Also when attaching bracket to the transom was it bare fiberglass did you just glue and bolt ??

    @@therukugorillazaotearoa_ we use sikaflex around each bolt, then attach it with 12 x 316 stainless steel M12 bolts
