More often than not I’m truly blown away by your Creativeness and ability to solve usually pretty daunting storage problems with beautiful Upcycled solutions! thank you so much, so so so so very much for all that you share with us here on KZread, my appreciation and adoration for you cannot be expressed by words in a comment box! And AWWW that message at the end was Oh So Sweet! I can tell u have such a big heart and I truly admire you for that! I’m especially appreciative because I don’t have any human kids, yet, but I do have 3 fur babies & it made me feel very special to be acknowledged!Happy mothers day to you too! Thank you for linking me to this video! I love this idea! I made YT craft storage videos for several years then I got burnt out and quit. Some of my last videos were along the lines of this one, using foam core for clear stamping block storage, scissors, and other things. However, I vertically stored them on shelves. I dropped the entire piece of foam core with the blocks into a clear craft envelope (the 12x12" one with the string flap closure) and then placed into my cube shelf storage. With your pens running horizontally on the board you could easily place these on a shelf and they're still in "flat" storage, or you could put the storage board in a 12x12" magazine box, or in a bin.

@@TheCraftyOrganizer she loves it. I made them for her pencils and paint brushes. I went a step further and put design paper on the foam core and added a self laminating sheet sup it can wipe clean

THIS IS A F A B U L O U S IDEA for those of us who have NO CRAFT SPACE to call our own!!! At the V E R Y LEAST we can lay claim to a bookshelf or two to accommodate these items!!! I LOVE IT, Norrine!!

This is just BRILLIANT! You get a gold star ⭐️ today! I would start weaving the elastic from the center: pull a length of elastic through a middle slit, then weave to the right; cut the same length from the bundle end, then weave to the left. That way tensioning would be a bit quicker. Really want to make this!

Happy Mother's Day to all! This is a great option (although I already have holders for most of my colored pencils and markers) for some decorative edge scissors that I just have thrown in a bin right now! Thanks, Norinne!

A fingernail file (emery board type) would be perfect for sanding down some of those cut squares. I just love all of your creativity! Thanks for sharing such great ideas with us.

It would be perfect for putting all the things needed while working on a project then just tuck away until it's time to work on it again. No more looking high and low for that marker or cutter!

BRILLIANT! What is really do great about this is elastic loses its stretch over time. It will be easier to replace it over the years. I organize my sewing supplies in a notebook. I have pocket sleeves made for coins stamps whatever. I store my asst. Of needles, brads and such. Saves me time in digging for things.

I came home and took a nap after both shots. That kept my arm relaxed and I had no reactions to either shot. I am thinking that this would also work for many of my painting supplies like brushes, pallet knives, etc. It can probably be used in a standing position, and with a two-page spread. Everyone is so impressed when I talk about "my organizer", so this gives us the opportunity to point others to your Facebook page and you tube channel. Thanks for such great tips.

This are awesome for supplies a few years back I use heavy weight paper board for the pages and the elastic it work well. I found a small Ring planner from the thrift store and use it for a traveling art kit. They are great for storage. However my supplies have grown and this will work well with the new decor thanks for the inspiration. 🤗

I am loving this idea. I have so many pen, pencil, markers, etc. that I might have to do more than 1 binder or maybe make one rolodex style one with binder hoops

It would be easy to do one for each? One for pens, one for pencils, one for markers. You could break down my style or brand if you have lots!

Love this idea. I did something similar years ago to organize my embroidery thread for a large project. I used a box from a 12 pack of bottled beer (lol). I cut the box so that the side flaps overlapped when they were closed and put a brad on one of them. On the other flap I used a piece of yarn to wrap around the brad in order to keep it closed. Then, on the inside, I used yarn like you used the elastic to hold the small skeins of threads on the side flaps. Next to each skein I wrote the # and color in case the wrapper got lost. I also didn't glue the yarn down so I could adjust it as needed when the amount of yarn decreased. In the middle of the box, I attached a gallon sized zipper top zip-loc bag to hold my project (the canvas, small scissors, and a small sponge hair roller to hold my needle). I really love the idea of using foam core in a notebook for other things like this too! You are such a genius and I get so many great ideas and inspiration from you. ANOTHER GREAT TIP!! Thank you Norreen. I do a lot of fiber crafts and I just know this will work for organizing projects like punch needle and rug hooking, especially using the front notebook pouches and the ones that have zippers and holes for notebooks! You always inspire me :) Will be watching on 5/15 too!! :) :)

I’ve used plastic canvas for years 15 years plus for ear ring storage it may last longer than you think the less exposure to light the better so a north facing room would be best
