This is a video of me building a massive LEGO roller coaster that runs consistently. It has always been my dream to make a realistic LEGO hyper coaster and I've been working on it for about three years. To finally have it finished is just amazing! This monster of a build is 9' long, 2' tall and has a layout of over 20' of track! It all started when I got the LEGO roller coaster set which was fun for a while, but I decided to take it apart and start from scratch. From there, I figured out how to make loops and was toying around with them for a long time. After that I was determined to make a launch coaster, which I did end up making, but it was lacking the consistency I was looking for. I still have the launch mechanism that I may use for another build. When I finally found the technique to make the truly epic lift hill you see in the video, that is when I stopped playing around and got down to business. To make this coaster as consistent as possible, I used a chain lift. Then, little by little, I started buying more track for the project. One purchase at a time, I finally made a perfect layout for my coaster with plenty of airtime! It has been a long journey, but it has definitely paid off.
