Leather Smart Watch Band taken to the NEXT LEVEL. I decided it was time to upgrade my boring generic Apple Watch band and make myself a new one . In this video I show my process of how to make a stylish tooled leather Apple watch cuff and I document the process from start to finish. From cutting out all the leather components for the watch cuff, to all the leather tooling, dying, stitching and finishing. Go slow and attention to detail never hurts to mock up with construction paper first on a new design too after that it’s all imagination

Thanks. It is a ton of work, many many days and hours for just one 10 minute video. Collaborating sounds interesting but I barely have the time to keep up with the ideas and backlog of projects I have planned. I am very grateful for your support though.
This is one of those videos that reminds me of Daniel's prophecy, that during the end times, "knowledge shall increase"... I wonder how many people in the history of humanity could have watched something as unique as this leather job in under 10 minutes. Jesus is about to return, but in the meanwhile, it's good to see satisfying videos and good knowledge put to use here on channels like yours. God bless you!

I love this ! If I ever decide to go for a. Apple Watch , I love to have a custom leather cuff/ band strap like this for my watch. I’ve even took a Casio G-Shock and replaced the band for a leather biker cuff and I’m going to do the same for my Armitron watch as well. 👍🏼

Great quality (the project and the video). I can tell, you got good gear (i.e. the skiving machine). Unfortunately, me as a beginner in leathercraft don't have access to that level of equipment. Anyway, I enjoy watching your vids!

Thank you very much. I just recently was able to buy a skiving machine. I did all skiving by hand for years. It is a good skill to learn and have down before going to a machine. And I still do a lot a skiving by hand because a machine can be unpredictable sometimes and you can easily ruin a project if your not careful. Thanks again.

lol now I have to get an Apple Watch just so I can make this I work in the woods and have broken the glass on my regular watch just from pounding wedges too hard so I’ve steered clear of anything expensive like one of those but I love this project so much I just might have to get one for the wife just to build the band lol

Just out of curiosity, what is it about mink oil that you like better than neatsfoot oil?

I have never tried neatsfoot before so I don’t really know the differences.

@@KingdomGloryLeather no worries I’m sure they work fairly similar. I just see most leather craft channels using neatsfoot oil , or Aussie. There’s not one right way to do everything!
