I love my tools I have acquired over time, but I still love watching the forming the panel goes through by hand. It's still a nice feeling at the end too. Looking forward to the installment.

I love the process of the sheet metal in the making too it’s very rewarding. And definitely love adding tools to the collection.

I thought I spotted that Sit-up-and-beg door shape in the background in one of your other videos.. I was right, except it's a Ute!

Superb video, really nice panel made with simple stuff. I'm sure it's not easy to shrink all that surplus material on the corners though.

Thank you. And you are very right it takes a lot of work to shrink the corner material.

Nice work and very interesting videos to watch. Quick question I notice that some people when welding in patch panels they use mig, whereas others use tig. If one method better than the other in regards to reducing the heat and reducing panel warpage?

Thank you. Tig welding is best buy far. Tig welds are more workable after the weld process. And less weld clean up saving time and putting less heat into the panel from grinding. Also mig can tend to crack on sheet metal.

hi. thanks for uploading the video. great work. how did you finish the bottom of the bead? did the panel still fit into the bead roller or did you have to do it by hand?
