    @robertbenjamin1513 Thank you!! I want to give mine an old school look as well. I am thinking black tailgate and roll pan with a blacked out front bumper, hood, and grill. Maybe some patina looking paint on the body. Again thanks for watching, subscribing, and the comment. Really appreciated!!

    Nice and easy way to add analog gauges, especially for that old-school look. I probably would have gone this route if I had not already got the Terminator X and the 7" screen.

    @Your PCMD yeah ….. my goal is to get the Terminator X with the 7” screen someday. I just have so much too do to get it going I am using my money strategically to just get it running. I bet the Terminator X is awesome to be able to plug n play and have all the additional options in the software. Thanks for the comment!

    Please do make a video on wiring this in. I’m highly considering doing this but I can’t find any info about the existing wiring. It be a lot less intimating to see someone do it first. 👍🏻

    @allen cobbs that is my plan as well. I guess I need to go ahead and get a service manual on order and save time from finding the wires with a meter. Did you use a Chilton or a Haynes manual? I like Chilton bit if you say Haynes has better schematics that is the one I’ll order.

    @user-zq2nd6cp71 Thanks! I have done two 350 swaps and loved’em. Yeah I am in Rainsville. It about 10 miles west of Ft Payne. Everyone usually knows Ft Payne because it is where the guys in the country group Alabama are from.

    @user-zq2nd6cp7l Sorry I do not. That was before I started a KZread channel. The truck was an 85 model and I just inset the gauges in the holes that were already there. It was much simpler that this one.

    Do you think there is room for a tachometer as well? Im doing a 5.3 swap in a 94 S10. Am debating on getti g the stock gauges to work or going with aftermarket. Factory cluster has a tach but the speedo only goes to 85mph.

  • @dtperformance256

    @dtperformance256

    @shadymaint1 if you move the gauges a little and use a smaller speedo than I did you could fit a tach in that space.

    Did you find a wiring diagram online or?

  • @dtperformance256

    @dtperformance256

    4 ай бұрын

    @brandonpfeifer I have seen some wiring diagrams online or you could use a Haynes or Chilton’s manual. I haven’t got it completely wired yet, but what I did to locate the turn signals and high beams was hook up the battery, turn the key switch on and use a digital multimeter to find the signals that I need. I plan on releasing a video when I get to the full installation of the engine with all the sensors for temp, volts, and oil pressure.

    Where do you wire the turn signal indicators to

  • @dtperformance256

    @dtperformance256

    5 ай бұрын

    @brysonhart6204 When I tested the turn signal indicator wiring in the harness that unpins from the back of the gauge panel, with the one turn signal on, I used a meter and touched each pin with a meter to see which one caused the meter to flash 12 volts. I did the same for the other turn signal. I do not have it fully wired yet, but when I get to that point, I am going to make a detailed video with wire colors. Thanks for the view and the question! I hope this helps until I can get the video made.
