Custom Exhaust Fabrication On A Civic EJ2 - TIG Welded - Tips & Tricks! Part One.
WE SELL EXHAUST COMPONENTS! - fabco.uk/
A slightly different video this week.. We've taken a break from the AgRo and PrincesS, to knock out a custom exhaust system for Wills EJ2 Civic resto project.
Using all FabCo exhaust components and with some help from Icengineworks, we go through step by step, adding some handy tips along the way.

I had a customer watch me do back box deletes on his Porsche macan He was super impressed with the icengine Lego
A nice balance of neat fabrication and welding with an insight of how much planning and prep goes into a job like this. Very watchable.

That looks like some serious work has been done to the car already, looks great . Complemented by a lovely exhaust.
Indeed super tidy excellent work I wish I lived closer as on watching this video (not that I am blaming this video 😂 just inspired) I employed my local mechanic who works with stainless, intercoolers and turbos etc to build my custom exhaust which he said he was happy to do, but I got a very different result! It knocks all over, he used my original hangers and the welds aren't solid feel the pressure coming out. This garage and guy was recommended and of good reputation! I just thought I'd share my nightmare😞
That's one slick exhaust mate. Proper mint!

Nice to see a British automotive KZread channel that doesn’t make me cringe (well there’s bad obsession motorsport too I suppose) great video, what grit combi wheel do you prefer?
Awesome video and love that you provide tips during entire video. Subscribed from America !

Love the production and content you put out. What's the music used?
Fantastic video. Thanks! That Civic looks stunning underneath. Did you fab the headers yourself too?
@FabCoUK

It really is! The headers were an off the shelf item, but exhausts for this model Civic in the UK are a little harder to find I think!
That's a super piece of fabricatiin. How many£ did it cost your very well informed customer?
Where could I buy that 3d cutting fixture?
I noticed you are welding the tube at about 40 amps. What gauge tube are you using? I primarily use 16 gauge and have been running it at 55 amps. Welds look good but wonder if I’m running too hot.
Yeah. Yeah. You're better than us. Now back to suspension stuff!

I might of missed it in the video but did you fit the springs on the bolts of the flex joint at the bottom of the manifold??? Ps looks like a great fitting system
@FabCoUK

No, as I didn’t have them. The customer did that after they picked the car up
We don’t get to here it!? That was the whole point of me watching this video was to see if meet putting the time in to make a custom exhaust with sound better than if I just bought bolt on kit ….
How long does a typical exaust take you to fab out? Great video beautiful work

This one could be done in a day if you wanted
Fantastic work. That's only a half system. Is that correct. A bit pricy. I would expect to pay that fir a full system. .

Thanks! There will be plenty who will work for less and get it done in half the time no doubt. I’m cutting no corners..
This is cool, how much does something like this cost?
@FabCoUK

Expect to pay around £800 for something similar, but there will be many places that can do this job for less
Excellent work again. My only criticism would be the very poor lighting in your workshop. Sometimes it's difficult to see what you're doing.

I wear a 6900 3M respirator 99.9% of the time, but you can’t present a video with one on unfortunately. I don’t need lecturing on PPE😁
