It looks like maybe you should have just used one coat of the watered down gold, because two makes her look entirely gold, rather than white with a gold sheen. Also, there's probably a less wasteful way to secure the tail than using just a tiny portion of a zip tie. Perhaps something like thick wire where you can cut off the length you need.

Omg! That actually sounds like one of *my* OC's named Page Turner! She is a Creamy-Peach colour With a Teal-Mint and Red Berry coloured mane and tail which is tied up in a bun With Forget-Me-Not Blue eyes Little wavy decals all around her legs And wears glasses! And her Cutie Mark is a book being blown open by the wind! She is very Nature loving, very sweet and kind, and she loves to read Fantasy and Romance books! yeah, she missed the strap, but Cleo is white with a "gold sheen" , she tried to replicate it, I feel as if she just made the sheen to opaque.
