If you are familiar with hard surfaces but would like to draw more organic shapes with curves and volumes this video is for you. If you wanna explore furniture pieces this should be helpful as well.

This is like math for my drawing mind it forces my logic and challenges me to draw with intent, thank you

I was looking at the couch in my family's living room and i was trying to sketch one of the back laying chairs and this video really helped me out.

I'm very happy to read that!
You know the videos you've been making have really gotten me close to your level but still it's just some how so amazing seeing somebody else do it. It's a weird feeling when i draw cool stuff i like it but I'm just not as impressed for some reason lol anyway you're great

Thans hou! ^_^
Great video and some very useful tips. I like the idea of using the double line to suggest the curved shape on the edges. I’ve always found using lines to describe shapes very important, and the weight of the line can be very powerful when trying to visually describe to people who aren’t conversant in ID (or any design to be honest). Thank you so much for sharing this with us…….and I had to watch the intro again as it was too funny not to!

I'm very happy that you found the video useful and indeed line weight is of utmost importance. Also I am sorry but you are probably on an FBI watchlist for rewatching that intro.

Sorry for the question, but I was wondering this for a while now. Could you tell me why do you still use Autodesk SketchBook instead of Sketchbook Pro? Btw, wonderful video like always😄

I guess because there is no reason to upgrade/switch. The new sketchbook app doesn’t have anything new that the old version didn’t have. Also I bought Autodesk Sketchbook, then I subscribed for a year and then they made it free. I also bout the new Sketchbook App for my laptop. So it feels like I supported them enough, so unless they come out with some amazing new thing for the new sketchbook I’ll just wait and use this one :)
nice :)
