Than when we use crank bar? Is same arrangements crank and curtailment bar? Can I replace curtailment to crank bar?

L/6.67 = 0.15L L/3.33 = 0.3L

Some beams bottom use l/4 in the beam can u explain where we can use the l/4 or l/8 concept

These are extra bars not main bars. Curtailment done only on end extra and bottom extra bars

For top extra L/4 is used at dis continues side and L/3 at continues side usually

No brother i don't agree with u Becoz bottom extra is provided at bottom centre to resist bending. And is provided in most cases especially in main beams
