That’s not necessarily for a scam. There have been times I needed a relative’s SSN to list them as beneficiary on accounts and insurance policies. I explain to them what it’s for. They have also asked my number for similar reasons. Never mind. I just reread why he told you he needed yours. He made that up.

I never told him that I knew that he was a liar. But we broke up shortly thereafter anyway. Then he puts on FB when he actually closed in a home a couple years later.
