I heard rumors that inumaki attacks souls of those who hear his technique, so the stronger opponent, the harder it is for him, but if he uses on object without a soul, like rock, there’ll be almost no backlash. At the previous episode, Jiro mentioned that Izuku's quirk will work against Yui (who is immune to mind control) "because it attacks the soul", so that theory you've heard is already a fact in this AU

Conditions and restrictions still exist, so I did it in order to compensate for their powerful quirks

I’m not completely familiar with cursed speech but could izuku look at tetsu tetsu’s metal armour and say “break” wouldn’t it break because its steel so it’s an object right? And if he said “quirkless” would they not be able to use it but they still have it just something in them won’t let them use it?
