The 2d ones sounded like something you'd hear on an old numbers station. The 3d ones sound like those sound recordings of planets.

The "recordings" of planets were probably achieved in a similar way, since it's also based on, and synthesized from a bunch data, and not actual recorded audio.

Love additive synthesis. Great job. Sounds excellent. Wonder if you can make complex sounds by choosing in which ways different zones modulate each other. Create operators out of different regions and their values and have some be modulators and some be sound engines. Then you’d have a really freaky FM synthesis graph thing that you can use math functions to generate FM synthesis clips with.
These sounds totally sound like math aliens. Make a series with them.
