Objectives:
1. Review randomized and registry data on LAAC with Watchman Device, with a focus on improving safety with newer iterations.
2. Review the importance of complications of LAAC, specifically peridevice leak (PDL) and device-related thrombus (DRT).
3. Review data on the Amulet device and newer LAAC devices.

    So PROTECT showed no significant difference in ischemic stroke but a significant reduction in CV death….how does this make any sense clinically? How else would a LAAO device reduce CV mortality? Honest question. Also CT showing leaks in more than half of cases isnt a good look either for Watchman.
