@@Dondaddyh I 100% agree with you, but lots of people are more than happy to pay over the odds a little for some things. It just depends how much you want something, and a lot of the time it's kind of ok I feel. I sold a games console years ago (I did not buy it to flip) and a guy bought it Christmas Eve (it was the No.1 hot kids present). If he wrapped it for his son the next morning....... It must have been well worth it for them both ; )

The Chocolate dial was always the most popular variation in that reference. Similarly, the Sundust is the most popular in the new reference. Both absolutely stunning timepieces! 👌🏻🙌🏻

Hey Charlie, the Daytona bi-colour diamond-dot you showcase at 9:25, you say you're retailing at 22-23K. I offered LWC a new 2021 fully stickered / unworn / full set this week and your guys didn't want it, didn't even make a low-ball offer. Wondering if this was an error and you do want it?

Another great update! So my wife noticed this and was wondering why the date is always 16 on your watch pictures? Rolex always has it on 28. She pointed this out so I'm curious too! Thanks in advance.

Aha well spotted! Rolex uses "28" on its date wheel as it's argued to take up the most space and showcase it most effectively. We use "16" to signify the year of our companies establishment - 2016!! Thanks for the question and thanks for watching 🙌

Both unbelievably popular models, the Daytona is always in high demand regardless of the bracelet type! However, last year the Daytona 116519ln Ghost on the Oysterflex strap was our best selling model by far! 🙌💯
15% under retail for most Rolex watches. 40% under for other brands.

100%, we are not far off the market in 2018/19 when you could walk into an AD and buy from the display. Some are already discounting on precious metal models.

Yes, but you will not get your stainless steel blue sky dweller or BLRO. THERE WILL STILL BE A SIGNIFICANT WAIT TIME SO IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE SOME WATCHES FROM YOUR A.D. TO START BUILDING HISTORY, MAYBE YOU WILL GET THOSE WATCHES QUICKER EITHER WAY I’M ALL FOR A MORE SUSTAINABLE MARKET.

Hi from North Yorkshire mate! We’d always recommend the Oysterflex, far more popular and sought after in the market, a far more comfortable wearing experience also! The solid gold pieces are still extremely slow in the market due to the trends and high RRP! 🙌🏻

Shouldn’t be too long. I got my Mint Green DJ36, fluted/Jubilee direct from my AD in around 6 weeks. Haven’t worn it once since I got it home last year. 😮

Im like most people, I have lost interest in watches at the moment I always get my watches from the AD even it it means waiting over the years I have accumulated quite a few all from AD and all list I would never go to the grey market everything comes to he who waits

@@mickpriestley I bought a Blvgari octo from Mapplin and Webb, it was about 20 months from then, dropping in and having a chat with AD when I could. I went in on a Saturday and the ad looked on the computer at my list of watches (my birthday is end of February also, plus I had just returned for working in Iraq) so he offered me the Dj Wimbledon there and then
Secondary Dealers running scared now.. they brought high and need to sell low to pay their bills.. Rolex start opening preown AD.. at least buying through them it’s guaranteed real!!

Despite how people feel about this channel, I enjoy insight into this sub-industry of watches since an AD would never allocate some of these watches to me. But whenever he says “value for money” I roll my eyes.

Jubilee is far more sought after in the market, however, the Oyster bracelet still has its fair share of buyers! Both unbelievably stunning timepieces 👌🏻🙌🏻

It’s an utterly stunning combination! However, it’s an entry level dial and slower in the market than the other more sought after variations of that model! As an investment, however, it could be good long term being a Daytona 🙌🏻💯

BLNR w/ oyster bracelet was briefly discontinued (replaced with Jubilee bracelet model) before coming back a year later w/ the current and better movement. It actually makes the older one with the 116 movement less appealing, contrary to what this guy would like to have people believe. Also contrary to the video title, this entire video just a shameless ad for the overpriced watches that are stuck in his inventory.

Different reference number. 116 is the older model discontinued approx 2019 i think
I get why Rolex is important for dealers, its volumes far exceed any other brand. As a watch consumer/buyer though, Rolex is boring as fk, I don't know why anyone buys them

May i suggest to stop telling people how to act,speak and change their personalities/behavior based on your preference. Create you own kiddies youtube channel and bore them with your vocabulary channel. And iam a million percent you will gain popularity

@@mickpriestley Not really. I have the wealth to buy a Rolex but choose not to. Therefore, when someone asks is that a submariner? (Which no-one does) then I will say yes it is. Hardly going to pull out a microscope are they.
