I was looking for a review of GC cereal candles and found you! Very informative review! Here's a tip... you might need to trim your wicks lower before burning them. Your flames are way too high. When I trim my GC candles low, I have no problem. They actually burn clean.

Hi friend! The only GC cereal candle I have is pink berry crisps and I love it. I already ordered a backup. I also have the banana pudding and enjoy it as well. My issue with GC is the inconsistency with the throw. I have some that are fantastic but many disapointments. I do think they filter the reviews. Have a great week!

I’ve heard they filter reviews from many people so I believe it. I don’t know why they wouldn’t want to take the feedback and make a better product!

I wonder if they are working on this issue. Ive never had a gc candle soot. Im standing over my love always win candle from bbw.. its turned brown and i have to keep pouring wax out cause it duds.. losing battle with them.. if i dont trim i get soot. If i trim i wont be able to light it. I literally do not trim and i still have to pour wax out on every candle from them. Sigh.. I havent experienced any of that with gc so i wonder if its something they worked on. Hopefully 🙏🏻 ive been impressed so far and ive tried about 30 different candles including the cereal. Hopefully every company stops messing around and delivers the goods 😅

Thank you! I've been melting mine under a lamp warmer. What's so frustrating to me is that the 3 wick candles are so light. I see reviewers smell them on cold and say they smell wonderful. I barely smell them at all. When I melt them, maybe about halfway I can start smelling them. The jar candles are strong. I think I'm done with the 3 wicks. I'll only buy the jars from now on. The problem is...I ordered 3 big orders before I figured it out. Bleh. I appreciate your reviews so much.

Thank you! I’ve never melted them but I need to invest in a good warmer for the ones that soot. I do that too! I’ve ordered. Get annoyed with the soot or other issues and take a break. Every brand has issues but this one has never seemed to be addressed and I don’t know why because it would make them a much better candle company!

Aw man!! I just placed another big order with them. I lovveeee the variety of their scents. It just sucks about the sooting. I wonder if I should just buy a lamp warmer for GC candles so I can still enjoy them.

Many people say they use a warmer with Goosecreek! I never have. Not all of them soot but they have been about 50/50 lately.When I’ve had enough… I take breaks from the brand. All companies have some soot or wick issues…. But Goosecreek seems to ignore the feedback that would make their product better!

I've been so tempted with goose creek's sales lately. They been killing it! I marched my butt to bbw today for the extra 20% off and so glad I did! I got 2 sweet carrot cake and another raspberries and Whipped vanilla bc it's been sold out for min and I needed a backup lol I love it! I also picked up 2 of the lemon pound cake and 2 butterfly! They got them from the back for me 🥳 Oh my lord they smell absolutely heavenly! And the lemon one is STRONG on Cold! So I have high hopes! Also found a party hat sanitizer holder with tinsel on it. Thought it was perfectly fitting to carry for my bday coming up on the 5th! 😊 It's adorable!

That’s cute! I seen it on Cynthia’s channel!! You got some that are on my wishlist! But they haven’t been in my stores yet…. So I sat this weekends sale out!

So many good points in this video! I love a lot of candles from goose but the sooting has really caused me to take a break. Every now & then I get one that is completely clean and it’s frustrating- if some can burn clean then why not all. I just started spring cleaning yesterday- washed down my walls. They didn’t look dirty at all but the water was horrendous. All I could think about was all my candle burning 🤢

Mine look pretty good but I bet I would have the same thing happen to me! I should do it but ☹️ haha Goosecreek is just very inconsistent and I can’t put my finger as to what it is… the wax, the oils, the wicks? So I take breaks too! Not as of late… but I feel another one coming on!

I so appreciate your honest thoughts on this brand! I've been curious about them especially with the rising prices combined with the not up to par quality issues at Bath and Body Works. I have so many bbw candles in my possession right now, i won't need more until next spring time, and even then I'll probably have a various amount of candles for the rest of the seasons 🤦‍♀️ I'm not in a minimalistic mindset by any stretch, im just trying to wrangle in my spending habits where I can to be more mindful about things on general 😅 super lame and not satisfying if we're being real but I'll live 😂 loved your video, like always, Teesha 😃

I’m so glad I timed it right! And not make at all! In this “day and age” or “era” haha we need to make good choices with our money… it’s not going as far as it used to! I do buy more than I mean to! Hmmm. I love Goose Creek. I just finished 2 peanut butter and they weren’t bad at all. Very little soothing for me. I burned fireside from. bBW and sooting was terrible. Started GC leather and it is amazing. Banana pudding did well for me too. Very little soot.

I’m wondering if some batches are just that different. Even with BBW I’ll see people say throw wasn’t that strong and candle needed tending too. Me burning the same scent had a whole different experience. Ive had trouble with some here and there. Oh well still love them. Looking forward to your Kringle reviews. I’ve never ordered from them yet.

I mentioned the same thing in my video, that the candles are so light and I have to put them under the warmer! So frustrating. I love GC but there’s so many scents that honestly suck lol. Unfortunately I HATED banana pudding lol! Smelt like banana Laffy taffy to me

Oh no! I’m reading a lot of comments that say that one wasn’t a favorite for them too! Yes, I like the brand but then I get some soot monsters and I take a break!

Hi Teesha. I spent my rewards and gift cards. As of 3/28 new candles and code too. I am putting Goose down for a while as well as others. I will be using my Kohls cash to get a Scentworx. I have a huge Yankee coupon and after that that's it for a while. I need to save money and burn these 300 candles. Banana pudding smelled like rotten fruit to me. Goose refunded me. Thanks for the review. I am officially done with Goosecreek. The sooting issue is out of control. They have amazing and delicious scents but I feel like I’m wasting my money. The burn is fine until it is at the halfway mark for me.

I love all of these;) I still purchase from Goose. Hopefully they’ll step it up a bit though. Thanks, chickadee🍃🌸

You look good in your glasses. Because of the sooting and no throw issues, I won't be purchasing any more Goose Creek Candles. I will purchase more of their hand soaps when I find good deals.

I completely understand that with the candles! They need to make their product better… they’ve gotten plenty of feedback!

Fruity hoops was my jam!! But I notice after the first burn the wax was all gray and dirty. Complete turn off!! I live goose creek but yeah the sooting is a little off lately more than alot!! Maybe because the good prices we're paying but to real candle lovers its a turn off. I'm giving them a break for a lil!! Plus it's like new candles added weekly my pockets can't keep up lol slow dowwwnnn Goose!!! Lol

They have been pumping out new collections. I have one more order but it’s mostly wax melts which I really like. But then I take breaks when I’ve had enough of the soot! I always hope they’ve taken some feedback and made the candles better… but I’m not experiencing that this round!

I love GC every candle may have issues including BBW try cutting the wicks down so the flames won't be so high and maybe you won't have that problem .J.S .?

Yes! I agree so many do! I trim them but sometimes they are too short so I’m weary to go shorter! I love GC too! Every brand has soot in some point of the burn though… you’re right!

Hi there. I just have to say, I’m not having the suiting issues with my GC candles. They have been burning clean and strong for me. I’ll continue to purchase them gladly. I’m really happy with them over all :)

That’s really awesome! I have a back and forth with the soot… I will get some that burn clean and then I will get several soot monsters in a row. But I still like the brand overall!

I want the honey crisp and the apple stacks but I have so many candles that I almost can’t justify buying them right now. I tend to care less about the sooting but I don’t like that the issue isn’t being addressed. Bad business practices!

@@TeeshaKeen yep. I got an email a few days ago stating they are discontinuing the program but you can still use rewards you have accumulated. I believe I remember it saying that the end of the month is when they’re stopping, so today lol
