I am so happy to have found your channel! It is hard to find REAL mature women over 60 who are ready to talk bare-faced to a camera. Nearly every KZread video I have found features much younger people. You are my hero! Thank you, thank you, good to see that someone else cares about looking pretty! You are beautiful!

Thank you so much Susan. Yes, and I believe I'm one of the very few over 60 who is a professional. There are others in this range, but, with respect, they often give misleading information. So glad you like the channel and its helpful. More to come.
So glad you kept your hair long...it's really pretty.
Love seeing all these great hair tips! Thank you Sharon!💕
I cannot wait to try this method! you are amazing! Thank you! Bev 🥰
Thanks Sharon for this video, I love your tips, they are quite amazing 🌹
What an inspiration to we older young at hearts you! I am so glad to have come across your channel!
I love how you create volume to your hair.
Oh Sharon, I just love this video. I’ve watched it a few times because I really need to learn new skills to handle this Curl that’s emerging with my silver hair. You are the only person I’ve found to show the proper way to do pin curls and to explain about the horizontal versus vertical setting . Anyway , thanks, as always, you are the best!

Some great ideas, you’re so creative with the hair!
What a lovely woman! I'm glad I found your channel. Your hair is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful tips. My favorite part is that when you're all pinned up, you're still perfectly presentable. A much nicer look than hair rollers!

Hi Sharon. I specifically came looking for your video on pin curls after you mentioned in our GGLI group that there is a correct way to do them. I’m going to experiment now. Sharon, I really appreciate all the time and effort you’ve put in to these many and varied topics. Your humor, humility, and authenticity just warm my heart and make me smile every time I watch your videos. All the best, Laura (Balanko).
Great! I’ve had your video on hold for ... well, looks like years! No matter, you have helped me immeasurably. THANK YOU! I’ve had no idea about hair padding, extensions, or pin curling. My hair is just like yours. Heretofore, I’ve been spraying my hair up-side-down and scrunch-styling with a super bold hold hair spray. It’s worked, but I remember how my Aunt would pin curl her hair at night and look wonderful in the morning. Your one-finger, two-finger, tackle box approach is terrific. I’m not sure about the dark extensions, but will play around with it. Thanks so very much.
You look Fabulous! I'm loving my gray n I love all these tips, so happy I found you today. Looking forward to more.

Super wow! I am thinking of stop dying my curly white hair. You are great person. Thank you!
Pincurl set was always the best set ....i have a salon and we rarely use this type of set ....i remember in the 60s we used them a lot such a good look on you ...i will be reviving this because of you ..many thanks do you want a job !!!♡♡♡
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! My hair is a lot like yours, salt & pepper and wavy. I teared up just a little when you did the pincurls as my Mom used to do those for us as kids the night before picture day. She passed last year at 83... I loved watching her do her own pincurls and her hair was short. She would criss-cross the pins. I really like the way you do yours in a roll like a curling iron would!! I never thought of that method! Thanks again and subscribed to see more! ♥
I love your hair and I also crunch now, but I like your trick with the curling it with your inner and putting it standing up. Such a good idea. I am defiantly going to try that. Thanks for sharing it. As you I like longer hair.....just don’t like to cut my hair short....🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️. And I am glad I found your channel.
Never get tired of looking at your videos

My mother used curl her hair with bobby pins. I never thought I would go back to what she used!!lol My hair is gray long and wavy too. I love the way your hair looks. It is amazing what we do to look beautiful, and its nice that we don't have to look old and drab. I know I am getting older, but I don't have to look old. Thank you.
I love the sounds of the fountain! Many KZread videos have obnoxious music. Your lack of music + just hearing your voice along with water sounds is refreshing!!

I'd love to travel but cannot afford to go very far lol! Anyhow, I'm an empty-nester now, so I have more time & I need to get away from my husband once in a while. The Baking Soda put in dry has already given me the appearance of whiter grays and less yellowing! I have a similar curl type hair as you but my hair is fairly thick. Wavy 2c3a. I also can wear it straight or curly/wavy. This finger curling idea is GREAT!! This may be just what I need to give a more finished look to my coif! Thank you!! You are lovely!! So glad to find your channel!

I'm so glad that I found you. I'm 50 and I've been going gray for a few years. I've been looking for mature updos and easy hair fixes. I have very thin, fine hair and you make it look so easy. Pin curls???? Who would have thought in this world of curling irons, flat irons, hot rollers, etc. that good old PIN CURLS would work. My great-grandmother used pin curls. I tried them after watching this video and WOW......just the look I've treated my hair so bad in the past to get. Why didn't I think of this easy fix??? It looks amazing if I do say so myself. Thanks for the help and encouragement!!!!

And along the way experimenting and honing new hairstyling and makeup skills will give you a well honed package by the time you hit your goal.

GORGEOUS!!! I’ve never seen standup pin curls before. Thanks!!!! My hair was thick and straight. Uber stick straight! Then they tried me on a new medication for MS that causes hair loss. I lost about a third of my hair that time. It grew back in kinky curly. I have puffs over my ears and a fine curly “halo” effect with my straight hair. Very odd looking and I don’t know how to deal with the curls. Now something is causing me to lose my hair again. I need to try extensions, etc. Thanks for showing me how to do that too!!!!
