To be fair, they were children (probably 5-9) so they would be pretty gullible. Though it also depends on what the parents taught them (stranger danger) which we don't have access to. If my parents hadn't taught me since I was 2-4 about stranger danger I would've probably followed a cute yellow rabbit and I believe you would too (the rabbit was familiar and cute to them so they'd trust it). Either way this is just my opinion so please don't take it to heart and come for me •^•
