Curing DTF on a Griddle??!! - Save, ship and sell your transfers! - New DTF Hack!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hey everyone, are you into making DTF transfers? Well, we have an exciting new hack for you that will allow you to save, ship, and sell your transfers like never before! Check out the bundle used in this video 👉 designbundles.net/the-phenome...
But here's the exciting part. We've discovered a new DTF sublimation hack that allows you to cure the DTF powder using a kitchen griddle! Yes, you heard that right, a griddle!
By using this hack, you can make DTF transfers at home. Not only that, but our hack also allows you to store and ship your transfers easily without worrying about the powder coming off. And if you're looking to sell your transfers, this hack will make your product even more valuable and unique.
So, if you're into DTF t-shirt printing or sublimation on cotton t-shirts, this hack is definitely for you. You can create high-quality DTF transfer prints using an inkjet or sublimation printer and DTF powder for sublimation.
And don't forget, direct to film transfers have some advantages over sublimation on DTF film. DTF transfers provide more vibrant colors and can be used on a wider range of materials. Plus, with our hack, you can now cure DTF powder using a griddle, making the process even more accessible and convenient.
Overall, we're thrilled to share this incredible new idea for creating and selling DTF transfers. So go ahead and give it a try, and let us know how it goes!

So I just had to share that I did not have a griddle but I carefully flipped over my Cricut Easy Press and held the transfer on top and it totally cured the transfer powder beautifully - just like a hand held griddle - lol. I was also successful with a heat gun. Thank you for the inspiration❤️

I haven't tried making DTF at home but enjoy watching your videos testing different options for sublimation. DB/FB was my 1st design/font site go-to when diving into the crafting world; so many great options to choose from!! As for your question about dry shampoo...I've purchased some in the past but not a fan as I don't like how it feels. I used to wash my hair every morning but now it's just 1-2 times a week. It all depends on how often you use styling products, quality of water and, sad to say, hormones. Children & menopause have changed my hair from board-straight & thin to thicker & wavy. I still rinse my hair each morning while showering unless it's just a ponytail kind-of day. You are beautiful all the time!!! ❤‍🔥

You always have amazing tutorials. You make the steps easy to follow. I have a question.... When you did the pocket square you centered on the paper. My question is could you cut the paper in half instead of using the whole sheet? The reason for the question is because you're taping to the other sheet when you print it. I wasn't sure if it's because it can cause a paper jam.

So, super great video. About your hair. I wash mine once a week. I already have dry skin so I don't produce a lot of oil. For dry shampoos, I've tried so many and I will continue to recommend the one by Philosophy. It comes in four scents. I bought mine through QVC a long time ago and a couple of my friends say they can only find a couple scents. Either way, the scent dissipates after a while. It's the result that is so AMAZING. There is ZERO "white stuff" and after you brush it through your hair just feels freshly washed. It feels light and clean again. I've just tried the one by Kerastase and that one still didn't give results close to Philosophy. I'm telling you... You've got to try it. ❤

Hello! Love your videos! I was wondering, though, since you are already using your Cricut press to apply the transfer, why not just cure using it rather than a separate griddle? I've seen videos where they held the press upside down and set the transfer directly on the heat plate similar to setting on your griddle. I have not personally done this, but it looked like it worked the same. What are your thoughts? The griddle would be nice for the larger sizes and if you are not pressing the transfer until later though.

  • @debbiepowers8197

Hi, another way to cure it in less than a minute is if you have an oven that you use for tumblers, you can put down a silicon mat and place the image on the mat, set the oven to like 250 let it heat up, and in about a minute the adhesive is melted :)

Hi, I really enjoy watching your videos and thank you for showing this hack. I have a Cricut AutoPress and shied away from DTF fearing that I may mess up; this is a game changer for me. Does the griddle have to be a this purpose only? I have a Power XL and need to know if I have to purchase another one just for DTF... Thank you

Hi Crystal. DTF InkJet Question. Can hack only be used on fabric (totes, cotton Tees?) or COULD I use it on sublimation mugs? Or Non-sub mugs?

No, because when the powder melts, the fumes become toxic.

A few thoughts 1) is this dtf different from uv dtf? 2) with this hack, after heating the transfer on the griddle, instead of applying to a shirt, can transfer tape be applied and the design transferred to a nontextile item? 3) if so, is it waterproof?

Would a sublimation oven work the same to set the powder?

I tried using the grill (just bought one) however it melts and bends my DTF paper. I'm using Yamation Transfer film. I put it at the degree you said but definitely it bubbles it up. I bought the grill on your link from walmart.

I'm curious will this hack work on the dark colored cotton shirts or do you still have to do the HTV offset?

Hey, have you ever tried the DTF white backing ink with Sublimation Inks for the other colors? Was just curious how its come out. The DTF inks look so thick to me, but of course, to print on black and cotton you need the DTF white, but was thinking using Sublimation Ink for the other colors might cut down on the thick look. Was just looking to have the look more closer to sublimation where the ink looks more like part of the material instead of looking like something that's just sitting on top of the material.

Hiii!! Im just confused about if we need to print in a dtf printer or it works in any printer. I have 2 ecotank printers, both 2811, One is converted to sublimation and the other one is just regular. Would it work?

Love the tutorial. One question about selling the print. If I purchased a design on design bundles, could I then sell these using the Dtf hack with it being covered by the same license?

Technically you're applying the design to something and selling it, which is what you do with (I assume), your other products. In that vain, I would say you are legally covered, but you should read their commercial use license carefully to see if there is any wording which would negate that specific use/sale case. Having said that, I personally wouldn't recommend selling transfers made with this hack as the quality is not incredibly reliable and your store reviews may take a hit to reflect that. In fact, you can even see that it didn't totally adhere in places on the back of her shirt in this very video (most notably bottom right letters), and she's fairly experienced at this. Just the nature of the hack.

I notice that on your software you chose polyester. Is the shirt polyester or cotton. I would like to see it done on dark garments. Great video. I have everything except powder and film. I will definitely try it.
