It's quite difficult for such investors to get a proper investment.. investors just want RoI and they often don't care about making an impact in other's lives unless it helps them improve them public image and there by help them make even more money..

As someone who has vision issues I totally agree with Peyush.. Ophthalmologists and Dermatologists are among the most heartless when it comes to making people spend money.. they know how scared we can be when told we could lose our vision so they make us spend as much as possible and beyond. Same goes with Spects sellers. Ordinary lenses cost less than 30-40 rupees per piece. So that 80-120 rupees including glue and labor cost for the lenses. The frames also have a margin of more than 80%. Then there are brands like Zeiss and Nikon and all, that charge exorbitant amounts for ordinary lenses like 5000 per pair of lenses alone. Ive been using glasses since my childhood and I've noticed that the lowest end lenses of these big brands are usually as bad as 500 rupee unbranded lenses.
