wow...I really love this island. not only do they speak almost like us from cabo verde islands, but the panorama is quite identical. incredible that there are 3 islands in the careabean that have so much in common with my country. Good luck with everything. ki Deus ta companha nhos tudu :)

This is my mother's homeland, she left in 1960 when she was 16 & has lived in New York City since. I got very emotional when i saw this & other vids of Curacao, I showed my mom these vids & she cried & told me she wants to go back home. She is tired of living in America

I was here in 1994 and of all the Caribbean islands I have visited (and they are many) this is most certainly one of the favorites. A little piece of Holland in the Americas. The only real disadvantage is that it's also one of the most expensive islands in the region but I would gladly live on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for a year just to spend two weeks in this tropical paradise. I strongly recommend it.

FYI: Curacao is really an island to 'relax'. So if you're going there, expecting to do all kinds of wild/crazy stuff...I bet there's a way to achieve that, but it's really a 'rest' Island.

It's weird how just 10% of our total population will get to see this. our people prefer fighting each other instead of adoring this. It always amazes me hout Tourists/Visistors see how beautifull this island is and yet WE don't see it. I'm one of those people who will drive around the island, i go to Bandabou almost on a daily basis. In 1 word, Curacao = Amazing !! The PEOPLE try to screw it up...however we won't permit it!

Don’t let you fool yourself by the background music and that perfect story telling voice. Of course they are only zooming in on perfect details with even some filters on the images. It’s a nice island but stay realistic.

Depends on what you want to do. Your options range from several night clubs such as the sea-front mambo beach or bermuda located behind the cinema at city center Punda to just hiring a sail boat and sail along the coast at night with you family while eating some barbecue.

It's hard living anywhere with four children and a disabled husband!! Very little new about that. Many of us have had to live with disabilities for years, do we have to not have a good time or enjoy life because others are not able to. As long as one is not exploiting anyone to enjoy life and travel, one should not throw water on anothers dream. Many are awake and have been that way for years, it why so many of us work for justice and equality where ever we are. Understand your concerns Miss Winner, but there is someone starving everywhere!! no matter how beautiful the nation or area.

@Jakichildhero We did include Klein, but not mention in script. There is so much to tell in just 6-7 minutes. But if you'll notice the 4 boys running into the water - the fgirl swimming underwater, and the fantastic close-up of the sea anemonae, they are all on Klein. We're doing a longer series - 8 videos - 2 min each, for broadcast that covers Klein more specifically. Regards, Darrell Turner, Travelview, producer of the film.

With those kind of comments, how do you want the locals ''attitudes'' to be good to you? I live on Curacao and i think that our beaches are very beautifull and we are more than blessed to have them. Our people are friendly to everyone, maybe you didnt have that good experience with them but that gives you no reason to say that the attitude suck. Everyone has their ways of seeing things, goodluck in life :)

A perfect place does not exit on mother earth. Indeed a nice promotional video for the island of Curacao, my birth place. Nevertheless the government, the business community and the social groups on the island should have yearly or quarterly meetings in order to discuss the negative remarks of the islands on the different web sites and try to address these different issues on a mature level. W,e are a multi-language society but we still, as most of the small islands in the Caribbean need to mature more in politics and put the people first before their their personal interests. I believe politicians should be more accountable than a normal citizen and should be penalized to a greater extend than a normal citizen. Dushi Corsow un bunita baranca den Caribe. In order to unite the people I pray and hope that they put God first.

Great video. I posted a video on supernius.pl Curacao is a "little Holland". Netherlands Antilles archipelago lies 60 km from Venezuela and several thousand kilometers from Amsterdam, but still like the Netherlands. In the capital of Curaçao - Willemstad harbor full of canals, colorful houses, drawbridges and small alleys - as in Amsterdam. Curacao is a small island that is paradise. Little rain, sun, mix of cultures, beaches and duty-free zone.
