Yeahhh,,that was The lovely Indonesian President,Mr.Joko Widodo.He used the stuntman in his act,due to his safety.But in real life he loves to ride motorbike also. That welcome dance named Ratoh Jaroe dance from Aceh Indonesia.There were 1600 dancers performed,they had practise it for 5 months.N they wore a special costumes which can remove in seconds to get a different colour. The show was continued by perform all Indonesian singer,they sing our ethnic songs n dances. That was a great react of you guys,i really appreciate that. Thank you guys for the time to see Our Indonesian Opening Ceremony... we are proud and gkad to be a host of 18thn asian games, the video is only 16 minutes...its only a high lite, the opening it self about 2:30 hour... the dancer and the singer is represent each of states in indonesia, we have 26 states, different culture, different languange, diffrent food... the only one united us ia Indonesia Languange, One more thanks guys!

hellow! i'm from Indonesia and i enjoy watching your reaction and appreciation for the opening ceremony for the Asian Games 2018. here's some fun facts for you: 1. it only took Indonesia 3 years to prepare the facilities for Asian Games 2018. In 2012, Vietnam was originally appointed as Asian Games 2019 host country. However in 2014, they resigned from the position, and the olympic committee of asia appointed Indonesia because we were the runner-up in the bidding. And then, Indonesia asked the committee to move it forward into 2018, because in 2019 Indonesia is going to have a presidential election. 2. it only took 1 year for the preparation of the opening ceremony: 6 months to get the concept fixed, and 6 months to do the rest. The story goes that the ambassador of UK for Indonesia commented months before this opening ceremony that it was impossible to prepare an international sporting event in just a year, noting that London Olympic 2012 opening ceremony itself took 10 years to prepare. 3. the colossal rectangle shape formation dance after the president's entrance...they were done by HIGH SCHOOL KIDS, all 1,500 of them. They were chosen from hundreds of schools in Jakarta, and had intensive training for 4 months. If you're wondering how they can change the color of their costume so fast: the front side of their costume had 5 to 6 layers of color held by velcro pads on their shoulders, so they only had to rip it off and smooth it down. If you watch seconds before they made the Indonesian flag formation, you can see the kids in the front line changing the color of their costumes right before the audiences eyes. :)

Yes he is the President of Indonesia. But for dangerous actions,he replaced by the stuntman from Thailand. You can't ask President to do such dangerous action. The dances,traditonal clothes,songs are from all over Indonesia. From Sabang in the west to Merauke in eastern of Indonesia. All resemblance of rich Indonesia cultures from 34 provinces. And the opening ceremony was held in Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno(main stadium Gelora Bung Karno) located in Jakarta. And the attendances had to pay like 750k rupiah if i am not mistaken.
