@@flameonoodle1172 Covid probably didn't hit them as hard since they're a small indie team compared to the big AAA studios. And if it was released in 2019 Covid wouldn't have had anything to with the production cycle. They just wanted to give us the best content they could so they delayed it and it's really exciting to finally see more.

It's the antithesis of modern gaming if you think about it, where games are pedalled and pushed out the door no matter how undercooked. This is how devs should be doing things....giving their works adequate love and attention, even if it means extremely long delays.

This game is so obviously still just absolutely bursting at the seams with all the love that's put into it. If you have the time, geniunely, use the . and , keys to go through some of the boss animations frame by frame. They're _stunning._

Man. Everyone at Studio MDHR deserves the praises to the utmost. The time spent to make this is beyond worth the wait because the results are absolutely bonkers. This trailer also can be nominated for one of the best video game trailers of all time as well. I really hope studio MDHR keep this series going! Cant wait for this to drop

The amount of work that must have gone into just making this trailer still blows my mind.

From the lovely little puppetry showcase to the beautiful hand drawn graphics, cannot wait to see what's in store for the DLC. Animators must've worked tirelessly, alongside the programmers and all others, hope they get some good rest afterwardss

Cuphead deserved it's popularity due to the difficulty, amazing style, the pure effort that went into the game, only very few bugs/glitches and just making such amazing things like this! Just for a trailer they even made it interesting enough to watch it all

I’ve tried to find some new things in this trailer here’s what I got; Ms chalice has a new weapon at 0:40 You can also see ms chalice doing what is presumably a roll at 0:40 Another new weapon, that shoots triple bullets! at 0:51 Ms chalice does a mid-air dash that acts as a parry at 1:22 Ms chalice also does a double jump at 1:23 It looks like ms chalice is an easy mode like character for players who are struggling But we shall have to wait till June 30th till we can see

At 0:51 The shots actually go though the boss, so it could it one enemy and then hit the one behind her Also during the airplane segment, she has triple shots on her normal darts, and smaller bombs

If you slow down the game play footage we can see that Ms. Chalice has a bunch of different attacks being a weird tornado one during the giant fight, a triple lightning shot during the ice wizard fight, and golden spinning bombs and triple bullets in the plane during the cowboy fight. A for movement she also seems to have a dodge roll, double jump (which I think was already revealed), and a dash parry which you can see during the horse fight at the end.

This is such a well-made trailer! Honestly, while Cuphead isn’t quite my style of game, it is probably the most effort someone’s ever put into the animation and art of an indie game.

It’s so smart how delicious last course spells dlc with the first letters

I just realized that the initials of "Delicious last course" spell DLC.

This has been a great year for soulslikes getting the final dlc update for blasphemous with a new ending on december, with an announcement of the sequel for 2023, a new dlc for dead cells with more dead cells content coming this year and the long awaited release for elden ring coming on friday, which was announced in 2019 the same year the cuphead dlc was announced and now we'll be getting what we have been waiting for years in summer. I'M SUPER HYPED!!!!!

I hope they'll release a physical version. I have been waiting to buy this game for way too long

hey just wanna say : the triple shot ms chalice has in 0:52 is actually an unused weapon in the og game it could be possible some of the unused weapons,charms and more..(from og game) will be added into the dlc

I like how they are still releasing new content for those who have already finished everything. Good work devs, keep it up.

I only just recently beat this game, and my sister is working on it, so we're really excited for this DLC! MASSIVE props to Studio MDHR for all the hard work and dedication they put into this game. Looking forward to the Netflix Show as well!!

It literally just hit that "Delicious Last Course" was an acronym for "DLC". I feel stupid for not getting that before.

you can see all the love they poured into this it's such a breath of fresh air

If Silksong doesn't have a release date by the time this comes out, I'll force myself to beat the DLC on hard mode.

I think Team Cherry has COMPLETELY dropped/forgotten about Silksong

Now this is a historic moment

Cuphead was, for me, on my Top 10 Best Games of the last Decade. An incredible game with a masterpiece art and animations style. There's no others like it, truly and genuinely unique within the industry and a reference in its own style.

oh my god finally- i remember this DLC being announced in the beginning of 2018. that honestly really goes to show how much time this stuff takes

2019 has finally come!!

Playing through the original now on Switch and it's absolutely brutal but so well designed. The fact that you're open to tackle the challenges in essentially any order means you never really get stuck on one boss or level. The boss patterns are absolutely genius too. The game is as beautifully designed as its gorgeous art style.

Gotta love how some people were complaining about the release date when this trailer first dropped. I still remember when the base game was supposed to have released in 2016.

This DLC looks amazing and it's puppet show trailer makes me want a whole show done in this style.

Aaaaa I'm so excited! This is the most hyped I've been for a reveal in months, I loved the base game to death!

I love how the puppetry is similar to one of those stop motion shorts from Rankin/Bass.

0:20 these scene reminds me of a short series on disney like the titanic with fingers for passengers back in the day, I dont know what it's title though

You know, I never realized how much I miss this type of cartoon style.
