Cuphead: Fast Dice Rolling Game Review

Ойындар

Cuphead: Fast Dice Rolling Game is a co-operative, manic dice game where players have limited time to roll and place dice on their player board in a sequence dictated by Boss attack cards. You'll need to take risks in hopes of scoring hits, dodging and gaining Wallop cards in order to survive. The games offers campaign play with 8 unique Boss packs to play through and includes a solo variant!!

Hi. Just found you on TikTok. After watching some clips i realized i have been "neglecting" board games for 20 years or so. The last one i remember was "Risk" 😅 Now that i got a glimpse of what is available i have the BIG problem on what to buy first...also, since you showed me these, you're now responsible on figuring out how i make enough cash to buy all the ones i want 😁 Jokes aside, i think i start with the Dark Souls card game because it can be played solo. The board game also seems nice (i think it can be played solo, too?), but costs about 160 euros 😮 Really nice videos though. I was shocked that you don't have more subs. Well, at least you have one more now 😊

@@NinjaGeekGames Sounds great! 😊 Maybe you can give a quick advice regarding Dark Souls? Should i try the card game or the board game first as solo player?

It's a difficult decision as I really enjoy both. The board game has a ton of content, really cool mechanics regarding using stamina for actions that also becomes your health. The minatures are amazing and Boss fights are awesome. BUT, it's a grind. The game can take hours to play (even solo) and the promised campaign that comes with it is poor (I just play the normal game where you fight 1 mini-boss and 1 boss). Also, if playing solo I use 2 characters. The equipment deck can be a pain as it's huge and you can spend a lot of Souls drawing equipment that is completely unusable by your character. On BGG someone has come up with a house rule for stacking the equipment deck to better suit characters that are present and I always use the modification. If you don't like the long 'grind' there is also another modifications on BGG for increasing the number of souls you gain but limiting your bonfire use (however, I enjoy the long game). There are loads of expansions too, but this can become very costly as it's quite expensive!!! Taking what I said into consideration , if you are a fan of Dark Souls them you will love this. The Card Game encompasses everything Dark Souls has to offer in a small box. The equipment deck works brilliantly and for its price you have great replayability. Again I use 2 characters for solo. The decisions made in game for how to build your deck with equipment/stamina is really rewarding. The expansions are amazing and a must buy for this. As a choice, I'd say if relatively new to games go for the Card Game. But if you have the money (and time) then go for the board game. With either you'll have a great time.

@@NinjaGeekGames Thanks a lot for the detailed answer. I see now why it's a difficult decision. I guess i'll go with your advice and get the card game first. If i really don't like it i have only "wasted" 50 bucks instead of 150. Thanks again, i'm looking forward to watch your other videos!

@@christianstachl no problem. It won't be wasted as it's very enjoyable game. One thing that isn't quite so clear in the rules is that different heroes can take actions between other heroes actions - I missed this for my first few plays. Check out my Learn to Play video for the Card Game.

Hi, it's 20seconds (I mention this in game summary at 3:50 mark). However, for insane games you can choose 15s or 10s depending on your sanity levels!!
