Some hubs on some frames need a bit of preload looseness. Then, once tightened into the frame the looseness goes away. Without this preload looseness the bearings are just too tight. Would be nice to address this topic, but still a good video.

Calvin shows that in this video very well kzread.info/dash/bejne/h6ydmdmNgqrMirA.html. Not sure if its only related to Quick release, or also to these "bolt-tightened" axls.

I think the purpose of the dust cover of the cone is to align the bearings perfectly than a cone without a dustcap, I notice this when I had a cone without a dustcap on the right while a cone with a dustcap on the left, as perfectly tighten those too I notice the right as a wobble.

I need to replace 3 kids bikes 2 20in, and 1 26in rear axles for longer ones for training wheels, Do you have any idea what the thread size is for these to purchase new longer axles? 15mm outside diameter and I believe 10m inside but the 1 1.25 or 1.5 don't fit

Whats Up Richard Nice To Meet You Brother. I Have A Mens And Womens Nishiki Pueblo bike From Dicks Sporting Goods And Would Like To Know What Ball Bearing System It Has If It Has Cartridge Bearing Systems And Adjustable “Cup-And- Cone” Bearing Systems Or A Different Type Of System And What Kind Of Hub It Has As Well Because The Website Doesnt Provide Much Specific Information Of The Components And Parts Installed On The Bike. I Really Want To Learn Bicycle Maintenance And Repair. If Your Able To Help Me Out With That I Will Greatly Appreciate It Very Much From The 💚🫂 Thank You And Have A Great Blessed Night Brother.

Since when do we just drop bearings in loosely like that? I must be way out of touch I guess.

It's their pick set. They have magnets on one end and I find them very helpful. They are also the most durable picks I've used.
