It's 'hierarchical'. Good to know about this kind of different practice when we try to get close to someone. 😊 They often talk about 'male banter'. Do women also do the same or exchange more flattering remarks in the UK?

I think females have their own form of banter but perhaps a lot kinder than their male counterparts
I'm from Osaka in Japan, and I think the culture here in Osaka is quite similar to British culture. We love making fun of each other.
