For an intercessor his or her obedience is evidence before God that such a person is a worthy undertaker.
Sometimes intercessor may be so tuned to the spirit that they believe that is a license for taking over the church or the lives of other people, obedience is being able to stand quietly in the presence of God even when that means nobody will know that they had prayed for the situation to change.
