We all know what the scripture says, obedience is better than sacrifice.
Even the King, David understood the value of obedience as opposed to doing work or sacrifices. An intercessor cannot gain influence except he or she invests in the art of obedience.
The Lord understood this, and it was on the basis of obedience that he said these prayers.
‭John 17:4-5, 9 ESV‬‬‬‬
I have glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.
