I'm just hoping she makes music again in some form. She's too talented to disappear.

Her vocals are so incredible. She can sound like an absolutely insane maniac person, but if you listen closely, there's this impression that she is aware and in control of each and every distortion in her voice. Really great concert!

This is exactly how I've tried to describe her vocals. You phrased it better than I ever have, though. When you listen to the subtleties of her singing on the studio album, it's just...terrifying.

Agree, in control of everything. Incredibly tight and professional. I have seen/been at a multitude of gigs but would have sold my soul to have been at this one.

replying to this just to let you know she just released a solo album with Johannes doing guitars and occasional vocals. I saw that Thomas was on drums as well but I also saw that it was a different drummer as well (though to me it sounds so much like Thomas's drumming style). hope it scratches the itch for you!

Initially, I didn’t like this album, it was the only CoL album I didn’t enjoy. But after watching this performance, specifically at the same moment when she first sings of the Wreck of S.S. Needle, it suddenly became this incredibly special album to me, from start to finish. Strange how that happens, huh?

@@RedSky-vf8bf Similar experience. Now it's one of my favorite albums. I think my initial failure was that I bounced off of her voice without looking into the larger themes and artistic direction of the album and seeing the energy live like this made it all make sense to me when I wasn't willing to have an open mind before.

This album will go down as one of the greatest heavy albums of the decade, and perhaps all time.

This album has legit one of the most epic endings of any media, ever.

The Wreck of S.S. Needle , one of my favorite metal songs ever. Love the power, the energy, the symbiosis, ... So intense. Masterpiece..

y'know this is the first time I've ever listened to any Julie Christmas live...I was always kinda worried she just wouldn't sound anything like she does on her albums...I am SUPER glad to see she doesn't disappoint and in fact is even MORE insane live.

I have listened to this 3 times in the last 2 days. This show is unbelievable and Cygnus was fucking transcendent. Simply amazing

This album brought tears to my eyes. It’s just so overwhelming and empowering. CoL and Julie are fucking legends

This same show at Damnation Festival in Leeds was and remains the best live show I've ever seen. Tear inducing, adrenaline pumping, mesmerising madness.

I feel like if I was at this show I wouldn't be able to move. I might even cry a bit.

I would watch it forever... One of the best live shows in existence... Goosebumps 🤘
