been traveling to Culebra nearly every year since '93, mostly to snorkel. You actually got the top stuff covered other than a few pockets here and there along the leeward coast. Carlos Rosario is top shelf, so yes, make sure you get there. There are excellent spots along some of the cays just north of Luis Pena Cay, but must be reached by boat.

I floated one last time in melones reef heaven and knew someone must have tried to capture the beauty of the coral, sea plants. Even thicker this year!

It’s beautiful

One of the reasons I have fun watching these videos pertains to the fact I have no desire to snorkel. It is not one of my interests. The reason I don’t have any interest in doing it has to do with the primary motive in my case for doing it has to do with trying to be like the others.

Like skydiving or bungee jumping for me. It’s fun to watch, but I have no interest in doing it. For me, snorkeling is probably the most amazing thing to experience in life. There’s nothing like watching that other world that exists on our planet.

I need to go there!!

Great advice

Was there anyone overseeing these areas, or completely on your own? Curious if there was any educational guides there to advise about not touching or harvesting anything in the reefs?

No, not sure if it was Covid situation or what, but there were very few people there and basically no infrastructure (restrooms & such)...
