Can this attachment be used for kitchenaide mixer?

Loved the review, well done! Do you know if the Kitchenaid meat grinder attachment fits in the same square hole? I don’t know how the plastic pieces will hold with time compared to the kitchenaid one.

A year late but it doesn't. My mom has kitchenaid and I have a cuisinart. The kitchen aid square is a few mm's longer so the pin won't reach the seat.

Will it work with Kitchenaid?

Are all Cuisinart stand mixers compatible for the meat grinder attachment?

My meat is getting stuck the skewers or white skin or tendon like parts keep getting stuck on the cutter and grinder plate. This process is taking a ridiculously long time. I have been working on one pork butt for a few hours now and I got the meat cold after cutting it all up. And my dial is in 3

Have you checked that the blade is facing correct side? The colder the meat the better. Smaller sized pieces. We prefer small but longer pieces. Removing tendons or hard skin type meat, can sometimes help. Using larger hole part, for some meats,makes process faster. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I ordered the meat grinder attachment after I got comfortable with my new Cuisinart. It will not sit properly. The part that is supposed to slide into the squarish slot inside the machine will not go in all the way, and the bolt and seating pin on the side are not entirely engaged. I have tried this attachment 3 times, always ending in frustration, and after watching this I have not done anything wrong, so will try it once more, and through it out. Life is too short and sausage is too important to be this frustrated.

Have you tried removing the bolt completely and setting it from scratch

@@StatUpBox Oh yes, many times. I have tried inserting the outer case and that will go in and I can set the bolt. The spiral pusher then does not go into its socket far enough to attach the cutting blade, die and ring attachment. I'm beginning to believe I was sent the wrong part. I ordered it online, using the product code that said it matched my Cuisinart model #. It's very frustrating. I had a Braun kitchen machine that lasted nearly 30 years. I then got a Kenwood which lasted about 7 years. This Cuisnart was a replacement for that, and as a mixer it's fine (about 1 1/2 years now). I am going to order a dedicated meat grinder. I make a lot of ground meat product, although I rarely stuff it into casings. I do thank you for your help. I found this video, and wanted to check that I had not misunderstood the instructions that came with the machine. I am now sitting down with and adult beverage, and when I am through, I will do one final clean up and fix dinner.
