Love the scene where Justice Cuevas educates the court through his closing arguments, and i pity the senators who let themselves swayed by 50M Additional PDAF in exchange for Corona's conviction.

If he ran for senator, he would have been a senator(formerly doj secretary) than drilon and de lima. He also would have been the male version of Miriam santiago

Ano kaya ang nangyari kung nag-Filipino na lang si sir? Baka mas naintindihan pa ng taongbayan ang brilliant analysis niya at hindi basta-bastang nagpadala sa popular na opinyon.

@@MrBenedick14 I see your point pre.

Pangalawa, we needed to force 'ourselves' to learn english. It is our own way to find out how we can comprehend or understand books or videos like this in english. Nung nagtrabaho ako, lalo ng mapasok ako sa government, narealize ko na kailangan, and by the help google and google translate, and reading and reading, not totally but siguro kahit 30% nag improve n vocabulary ko. Even me before, ganyan din dinadahilan ko, mga 'pasikat' tingin ko sa nag eenglish, then under some circumstances napilitan mag aral talaga.. then I realize na dinadahilan ko lang yung iba na nag eenglish dahil in my own part ay di ko maintindihan. Marami rin kase ako talaga nakita ng ang arte mag english, alam muna ibg sabhn ko. My point siguro na dapat tagalog, pero dapat we should force everybody in school to learn english language. Hindi naman siguro pag tang kilik sa isang foreign language ito na originally from united states and some european/english countries but as a means of communicating to the other countries of the world. And lastly, english, will really help us in our studies and day to day life. Wala naman means to argue pero sana na share ko ng maayos. 👍

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. As a law student here in the United States, I have seen many different cultures as well. While it is true that a lot of Europeans can not speak English well, it is because Europe is such a small continent that they study other languages besides English. I know how to speak French, Italian, and Spanish after studying them for several years, but I have European friends who have studied other languages ever since elementary school, just like how Filipinos study English ever since elementary school. While I agree that there are Filipinos who use the English language as a way to "look smart," Serafin Cuevas is not one of them. If anything, using the English language was 100% better because it allows lawyers and public speakers more leeway to express their case and analysis. Secondly, your comment automatically suggests that it was Cuevas' fault for speaking in English. Why blame the lawyer who fid his job, instead of blaming the uneducated, unqualified Senators who got swayed by corruption and low-level lawyering from the prosecution? It's just not right.
