2 days ago my now ex girlfriend told me that she wanted to talk and I had a feeling that she was gonna break up with me so I played this album and I bought her the most red flowers I can find since it was her favorite. Now when I want to recollect our last moments as a couple I can always play this album she was my first love and we loved each other so much but we were hurting each other more than loving one another and life made it so busy for the both of us to be able to have time for each other. I still remember looking into her eyes and she didn't have to say it but I knew that she wanted our relationship to be over but not because she stopped loving me I understand that the reason why she let me go was because she loved me and maybe in the far far future we can be back together again if our paths cross perfectly but we will remain as friends and cheer each other on.

I'm not sure anyone is ever going to read this but to those who relate to this song as much i use to trust me it gets better. I was with my ex boyfriend for about 14 months and he broke up with me 2 months ago on my birthday, reason being that he felt we leaned more towards a friendship and we did long distance for the last 4 months. I still loved him so much and didn't want him to leave me I cried so hard for weeks but eventually grew from it especially with this song because it really captures what i was feeling. ik dis kinda late but i went thru a similar experience in september ish. the main reasons were super similar to your experiences and it fucked me up. i cried for weeks too tryna cope with the loss but it did get better over time. my advice is jus try to cherish the beautiful memories youve spent together and dont try to repress them, while also tryna move on and learn to accept the loss. i hope i phrased it well enough😭 but yeah someone read it🙏 i hope this helped at least a lil bit
