Man do I feel bad for Shota. The man is the best starter in the league with a horrible and unreliable bullpen! Spend a little cash on some quality relief pitchers already!

Sorry, but 98 pitches in 5 innings does not cut it. Imanaga has to cut down on his pitch count so he can go deeper into the game. He currently averages less than 6 innings a start. That may be the norm nowadays, but it increases reliance on the bullpen and the chances of having a reliever who blows the game by having a bad day.

@@paytonhall691 Has Imanaga faced the best lineup in baseball in every start? I like the fact that teams don't score on him, but her really needs to improve on his average of less than six innings a game.

No one's going to deny he wasn't efficient in this game, but the only reason he averages less than 6 innings per start is because of his second start where he only went 4 innings. However, he only went 4 innings because there was an almost 3 hour rain delay in the bottom of the 4th. If you take out that start, he's averaged 6 innings over his other 7 starts, so maybe learn a thing or two before spouting some nonsense.
