Cubana IL-96 Business Class | Havana - Madrid

Interesting flight on a beautiful russian truck. Cubana is the only airline where regular pax can fly on the IL-96-300!
I was offered an upgrade upon checkin at the airport and since coach was already getting crowded I took the chance.
Sorry for not getting a shot in of the meal service. I focused on the aircraft itself. Don't worry, it wasn't that good ;)
Overall it was a fun flight on a unique aircraft. The service was short and ok, but not outstanding and not at all comparable to western airlines. Their staff was nice but since it was a night flight there were basically just two quick meal services and that was it.
But I guess one shouldn't go too hard on them. The country itself is facing much heavier problems in everyday life and so is their airline. Almost the entire fleet is grounded and Cubana heavily depends on wetleases.

QuarioQuario54321 the idea of design here was to bring in cabin just a very light hand carry (jacket, backpack etc), which is enough space to be placed in side bin.. BUT in same time this plane has a free access to lower cargo deck, where you can find a store space for hand-carry luggage, which might be quite heavier or bigger than modern limitations for hand baggage to be placed in bins (around 10kg max)
