Cuban boxing gyms are so high quality, especially the footwork drills. Footwork is the #1 thing to keep you alive in a fight.
The most difficult Olympic Sport ! It is amazing a nation so small, under 11 million, can produce so many box champions.

In my personal opinion and everything I know about boxing, I think that Cuban boxers are unique and original, they tan too clean, they box beautifully, they have style, their movements are impressive and their technique is unique, that is true boxing, that is what true boxing is all about. boxing having all that and fluent and for me the Cubans are complete boxers who know how to fight at all three distances and in short I think that Cuba is a boxing school because they are natural their style is unique originated from them blessings to all is my personal opinion greetings from mexico

I agree out if the rest is utilized it more purely and with more mastery. He was slick with legwork snd head movements and with good explosive counters.

UPDATE: Olympic boxing champion Andy Cruz is able to escape Cuba Boxer Andy Cruz, the Tokyo 2020 Olympics champion, was able to leave Cuban this weekend (November 4-6, 2022) and is now in the Dominican Republic, where he reunited with his partner. The news was reported by sports journalist Francys Romero, who added the boxer will now pursue a professional career. Last June, the 26-year-old resident of Matanzas was surprised by Cuban authorities as he was trying to leave the country along with baseball prospect Cesar Yanquiel Hernandez. As a consequence, both athletes spent several days in prison. The next month, after the boxer put in a request to resign from the Cuban team, authorities on the island informed him he had been banned from Cuban sports.
