The CTWC Qualifiers started in 2015 when Christian Deitering asked Vince Clemente to host a Southern Qualifier in Texas, sending the winner to CTWC to compete in the World Championship. This was the first of many CTWC qualifying events around the world, which continues to expand and sponsor new players every year. game 1 - I've NEVER seen such killscreen play. stacking two tetrises high? tetrising like 4 lines off the bottom? what a world we're living in. (followed by amazing 4k top out, I just don't understand how that happens...)

He has gotten so damn good efficient and aggressive even on kill screen play he's potentially on the verge of being the best at it, but it's a bold strategy and still just dont know if that strategy alone would b sustainable against say Fractal or Dog on a perfect kill screen run getting singles and doubles and rare tetrises as needed, but thing is thats just how Sidnev chooses to play usually he's more than capable of getting to like level 50+ and singling lines on kill screen potentially indefinitely as well if needed or as needed, very special player he is!. His progress has been extraordinary. As for the early top outs which used to be fairly common for Sidnev with his extreme aggression play back then its been reduced by a ton but I mean its still tetris ya know and even though he's dialed it back a lot that play style is still risky even if just one out of every 20 games kinda thing ya know so thats all that 2nd game fluke kinda was I think.

He's definitely one of those pushing the game to its absolute limits even on 18 types often times despite the risks.

This match was played on the Side Station. The players may NOT have been able to hear the commentators with the setup they had.

Why are you so angry? Sidnev was ahead in lines so he was looking to get a preview of the pieces coming. scout has a video about this, you can check it out

The way the set up was at Waco you might not necessarily be able to hear the commentators clearly on the side station. SO in order to get a gist of your opponents board score and maybe point in the sequences you look at your screen. So players do this and make decisions on how to adjust their play for it. There is a lot of information a player can gain from looking at the opposing players screen

It's a sign of an insecure player esp as much as he was doing it and lost to boot. It's not cheating but it lowers my opinion of the player when they do it exclusively. But this is just my opinion. There are a lot of ppl who are fine with it.
