Take a look at Google Earth. All fires are in vicinity of oil and gas pumps. Hotspots are being noticed in the regions. Hotspots occur when drilling opens up fissures of escaping gas. One match and it's poof...

Gee BC has collected billions in carbon taxes, yet they have done nothing for forest management, decades of not ensuring fire breaks around towns, decades of not cutting down dead trees. And lets not forget the fact that the slap on the wrist for arsonists who have started fires.

These forest fires are going to be an annual event. The federal governments needs to fund equip and train the armed forces to respond to natural disasters such like forest fires floods hurricanes

@@zachweyrauch2988 lol you’re asking a lot of politicians who don’t think beyond the next election. Mitigation involves removing fuel before it builds up too much. It also means changing forest from conifers to deciduous to accommodate climate change.
