Like a dream, already caught 15-20 salmon on it. I will have video when I have time on my other channel

Do you think I'm better off with 9wt or will 8wt be fine for salmon fishing in NY?

@@str8tuggin731 If the salmon are under 20lbs, you will be fine. Most Atlantic salmon are 8-12lbs, this rod would be more than enough.

@@EvolveCustomRods these are king salmon I'm fishing for which can range up to 40lbs. Looking at the 8wt vs 9wt there wasn't much of a difference within diameter.
