That “caution bus approaching” is a nice touch. Must be a new thing only the 2023’s have ?

Our Proterras along with the 2022 Novas have it. The Prototype bus of the 7900 series #7900 & #7901 were pulled from service to be given the system & were to be used for training buses. That didn’t last long & they were put back into & still have the system. Uploading a video soon of a Proterra passing by. You’ll hear the announcement play.

@@locoooo. I call this a Talking CTA Nova Bus 8550 when it says "Caution Bus Approaching"

It's a shame the exterior display signs on 8550 aren't functioning properly

Newer bus = more issues. The only good thing about “new” buses is that they ride smooth before they are actually broken in.

No it isn’t. If anything it was supposed to be at Kedzie.
